Pewfell will begin its run on ComicFury next week. The strip will be updating Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays. I was originally going to go with a 7-day a week schedule, but since the archive is so big, I figure that maybe a gentler pace would make it easier to absorb. To kick things off, though, I'll do one every day this week, since the initial story just happens to be 5 pages long.

Thanks Kim. I used to host over at WebcomicsNation.com, and tried to stay loyal to to them as long as possible, but they have been dying a slow death over there, and now the copse is undeniably rotten, with bits falling off at the slightest touch. Very sad because I was very happy over there while it lasted. I did also run the strip at DrunkDunk at one point, where the peeps were very nice indeed, but I found the site very slow and it's just not at all customizable. So not much use as a homepage location. I've been looking around for a new home for Pewfell and from what I've heard, ComicsFury is the place to be. It seems to have all the features I need, and I love how customizable it is. Still, it looks like it will take me a while to migrate everything and tweak everything the way I want it, so please bear with me as I get it all set up nicely. I plan to start running the strip again from the beginning, as I'll need to upload it one episode at a time anyway. If it goes out daily as I plan, I have about 3 years worth of material. So yes, please stick around!

Wow! As they say; If you sit down in one spot long enough, everyone you know will pass by! It is very good to be able to follow Pewfell again.

It's awesome to have one of the all-time greats here at CF. Welcome, Chuck. You're success is an inspiration to all cartoonists.

Still, I fear all webcomic sites will eventually go the way of WebcomicsNation sooner or later. :(

Yes, I think that's very true. Anyone else remember Giant Panda (I think that's what it was called, or was it just Big Panda?!) That was one of the early webcomic hosts that suddenly died a mysterious death for no apparent reason. There, have certainly been a number of them over the years. Anyway, I guess it's good to have an excuse to re-run the strip -- it's a bit like going into syndication! As to my success, I dunno about that, it's not like I'm dining off caviar over here!

Maybe when a webcomic hosts are run by AIs, they will become self sustaining.

Ahh yes, blast from the past! I just missed the old 'Panda Express' with Pewfell. I had done some stuff in zines, but by the time I started posting to the web the Panda had rolled over and died, though it was still doing a very good imitation of being alive. I approached Keenspot, but my format was too crazy, and in those days they were really only interested in regularly updating newspaper-style strips. Then ModernTales came along and I had found my peeps!
